When do you schedule sessions?

Monday through Friday:  9:00am-5:00pm

Contact Master’s Design HHS if your schedule does not support this availability and additional times may be arranged.

Please cancel appointments with a minimum of 24-hour notice.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Appointments can be scheduled through Hess Chiropractic Center or by contacting Sandy Combs at Master’s Design HHS.

Do you accept medical insurance?

No insurance is accepted.

Can I use my flexible spending or health savings account?

Master’s Design HHS cannot advise because all plans are different. Please contact your plan representative for reimbursement eligibility and requirements. If you find that your plan does not cover Master’s Design HHS services, it may be a coverable expense if you have a prescription for my services, from your medical doctor. I would be happy to discuss my approach with your doctor if necessary.

Are there forms I need to fill out?

Yes, you will find the necessary forms under the “MORE” link. You may print, fill out and bring the forms to your first appointment or email them to [email protected].

How long is a typical session?

Energy Kinesiology Session – 1.5 to 2 hours

Nutritional and Heart Rate Variability Assessment – 1 hour

It may seem long but we are talking about things as we go and the time passes rather quickly. The time is usually even tolerated well by children.

Is there anything I need to do before my appointment?

It is really important that you come to your appointment with your forms filled out. They are very detailed and there will not be time when you arrive to complete them.

For an Energy Kinesiology Session, It is recommended that you put some thought into what areas you would like to see improvement in. You may have a huge list of things you want to be addressed.  My suggestion to you is to look at that list, and identify your top three issues or goals. We will focus on one at a time but be on the lookout, you may notice improvements that are not even related to the area you want to work on.

What should I wear?

I suggest comfortable, loose fitting clothing. It will be necessary that I lightly touch specific locations on the body. Pants are better than dresses. Clean socks are a big plus, as we will likely be touching your feet and face. Dress in layers since people often shift between warm and cold during an appointment. Dangling earrings, bracelets, and necklaces may also get in the way.

Do you use needles?

No needles are used, ever.

What age clients do you work with?

I work with any age, from newborn to the elderly.

Should I come to my appointment if I am sick?

Please use good judgment with this. If you have a fever or are vomiting within 24 hours of your appointment, I would ask that you please reschedule to protect me and my other clients from getting sick.

Should I stop seeing my doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist, naturopath?

Absolutely not.  What I do is completely different from them. You may naturally find that the issues you and your medical professionals are working on evolve, leading you and your doctor to reexamine how you are dealing with them from a therapeutic or medicinal approach.

Will this work even if I don’t understand it?

Yes, and I have a number of people I have worked with who have come to agree.  I have had many who have no prior knowledge of or experience with Energy Kinesiology or Nutrition Response Testing, and are even skeptical at first, but afterwards are happy to acknowledge the difference the work has made in their lives.

How many sessions will I need before I see results?

In most cases, people see results fairly quickly. It is not possible to predict how many hours will be needed, but most people feel that they are taking steps along a better path after every appointment.

Do improvements happen immediately or take time?

Some people see the improvement immediately. Other times, people don’t see improvement until they stop and take a look at themselves and their situation a few days or weeks later and are surprised at the difference. It is neat to talk to clients and ask them about how they are doing in an area and their response goes something like this…”I guess I am doing good, I haven’t noticed that issue lately.” I find that people don’t even think about the issue anymore, once it’s gone.

Is this just helping me function and feel good temporarily?

No.  This is not simply a way to temporarily deal with something. It’s not like a foot-rub, which may feel good at the moment, but has no lasting impact.  The ultimate goal is to improve your overall physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Do you work with animals?

Yes.  The furry friends that are a part of our family can also receive great benefit from my services.

What do you NOT do?

I am not a doctor and therefore, do not diagnose illness or prescribe medications. I will not do anything invasive. I do not serve as a psychologist, psychiatrist, or other trained mental health professional.

Will the information discussed in my sessions remain confidential?

All information shared is confidential unless release of these records is authorized in writing by the client, subject to the following exceptions:  Information may be released if legally obligated or reasonably allowed to do so, including circumstances where there is clear and imminent danger to yourself or another person.
